My 3-Phase Journey at Vintrosys – Projects, Fun, and the Frappeverse

My 3-Phase Journey at Vintrosys – Projects, Fun, and the Frappeverse

 · 3 min read

Hey everyone,

I’m PON SAKTHIVEL, and this is a small reflection on my journey so far at Vintrosys — how it started, how it’s going, and what I’m exploring next.

For me, it’s not just about projects or work — it’s about learning something new every day, enjoying the process, and exploring what’s possible in the Frappeverse.

To describe it better, I like to think of my journey in three phases — each one shaping me in a unique way.

Phase 1 – Getting Started and Building Confidence

Stepping Into the Frappe World

When I started at Vintrosys, everything felt new — ERPNext, Frappe, implementation flow, and client communication.

It was exciting and challenging at the same time. Slowly, I began to understand how things connect — from a simple Doctype to a complete workflow.

Learning the Basics

My early focus was on standard implementations — HR, Payroll, CRM, and Helpdesk.

I learned about:

  1. Server setups on AWS, DigitalOcean, and Frappe Cloud
  2. Creating templates and handling role permissions
  3. Customizing Doctypes to match client needs

Building Technical and Communication Skills

With every task, I gained more confidence — not just technically, but also in communicating with clients and managing timelines.

That initial phase taught me patience, observation, and the importance of understanding the “why” behind every feature I worked on.

Phase 2 – Projects, Team, and Fun Learning

Managing Multiple Projects

This is the phase I’m currently in — filled with multiple projects, ongoing tasks, client support, and plenty of learning moments.

I’ve been actively involved in several projects, such as:

  1. Simpel – Functional and technical progress is going steadily with clear planning.
  2. Raviproduct – Consistent task handling, focusing on usability and system stability.
  3. Fabtex – Support and maintenance are going well with timely resolutions.
  4. ISIPL – Active setup with structured planning and continuous updates.
  5. Aaladi Pattiyan – Core ERP modules in progress, great learning experience.
  6. Pineview – Low-cost AMC project, handled efficiently with minimal support required.
  7. Educative – Education and HR-related modules are in progress, moving at a steady pace.
  8. Truesyncs – Support and development in the pipeline, focusing on the education industry

Each project has brought new challenges, requirements, and opportunities to learn — from payroll customizations to CRM automation, and from report tweaks to support handling.

Client Handling and Support Process

Over time, I’ve learned that client satisfaction is not only about delivering solutions but also about communication and reliability.

Here’s how I handle client support and feedback:

  1. Clear Communication: Setting proper expectations and keeping updates transparent.
  2. Quick Response: Every ticket or issue is acknowledged within 2 hours.
  3. Timely Resolution: Most issues are resolved within 2–7 days, based on complexity.
  4. Continuous Feedback: Regular client feedback helps refine processes and solutions.

These practices have helped me build trust and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

Team Collaboration and Work Culture

Apart from client work, the team atmosphere at Vintrosys keeps things lively and engaging.

Brainstorming sessions, sharing knowledge, helping each other with challenges, and celebrating even small wins together — that combination of learning and teamwork makes every day enjoyable.

Phase 3 – Exploring the Frappeverse and Looking Ahead

Diving Deeper Into Frappe

Right now, I’m exploring deeper into the Frappeverse.

I’ve worked across modules like Buying, Selling, Stock, Accounts, HRMS, CRM, Helpdesk, Wiki, and Raven.

Some of my recent integrations include:

  1. Biometric systems
  2. Email and Razorpay integrations
  3. Next on my list are Bank API and WhatsApp integrations.

Low-Code, No-Code Exploration

I’m also interested in exploring the low-code and no-code capabilities of Frappe — learning how to simplify processes, improve user experience, and deliver faster solutions.

Technical and Functional Growth

From client scripts, server logic, child table customization, and print formats, to requirement analysis, solution planning, and end-user training — I’ve enjoyed every aspect of learning and applying new concepts.

Through all this, I’ve learned that growth isn’t about knowing everything — it’s about knowing how to learn and adapt continuously.

Future Vision

My next goal is to grow into a Solution Architect — someone who can combine technical expertise with functional understanding to design complete ERP solutions tailored to any business need.

Conclusion

Looking back, this journey at Vintrosys has been full of learning, challenges, teamwork, and exploration.

From my first ERPNext task to managing multiple client implementations, each step has helped me grow — technically, functionally, and personally.

Client feedback, support experiences, and team collaboration have all played a big role in shaping who I am today.

Still learning.

Still exploring.

Still building something new every day — with focus, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
